500 g (18 oz) strawberries
2/3 cup (150 g) sugar
1 cup (250 ml) whipping cream
1 lemon
4 table spoons rose water

Rose-Strawberry Ice Cream
Juice the lemon and put the juice in a blender. Add the cleaned strawberries, the sugar and
the rose water. Blend until smooth. Pour the cream in a bowl, and whip with a hand mixer until thick. Mix in the strawberry puree, then pour in the ice-cream maker, and voila!
This recipes works best with fresh and ripe strawberries; the rose water mostly re-inforces the fruit flavour, like vanilla does for chocolate. If your strawberries are a little tart, add a little more sugar.
