Lemon Meringue is both a restaurant and a pastry shop. On the pastry side, the emphasis is on tarts: for example, rhubarb, almond-apricot, chocolate-peanut butter and of course lemon-meringue. The tarts are very fresh, the crusts are either a light shortbread or a flaky puff pastry, and the fillings, obviously made with first-rate ingredients, taste great. In the signature lemon-meringue tart, the nicely tangy lemon curd is perfectly balanced by the sweet meringue topping. Lemon Meringue also offers savoury tarts (like quiches), and a full restaurant menu.

Poor service and rude owners, but i have to admit the food is fine.

This restaurant has some of the best desserts in Toronto. Try their lemon meringue or any chocolate mousse tarts. Expensive but worth it!
