The emphasis at Vanilla Industry is on parfaits - these desserts in a cup made of layers of various creams, fruit-based preparations, and shortcake or biscuit. We tried the strawberry parfait (whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and genoise), and the mango-tapioca parfait (mango pudding, coconut pudding, tapioca and whipped cream); both were well made and satisfying, if not spectacular. Strangely, the mango parfait lacked any fresh mango, which would have made a great addition.

Vanilla Industry also makes fresh fruit tarts, banoffee pies (banana-caramel- whipped cream) and various kind of brownie-type cakes. Some of the same pastries can be found at Vanilla Brasserie on the food floor of Paragon.
