Patrossian offers a small but high-quality selection of pastries, with a style of their own. The specialty here is fruit tarts, made with a delicious flaky, filo-like crust, a thin layer of pastry or almond cream, and fresh fruit (think mango, fig or strawberry, among others). The apple tart, with large chunks of soft, caramelized apples, is particularly good. Hexagon-shaped white and dark chocolate souffles are also available, and a variety of other more traditional pastries.
