In this quaint restaurant, (re)discover the
joys of eating with your fingers. The food,
little mounds of delicious pickled "achards"
and stewed meats, comes on an injera
bread which covers the whole plate. You cut
pieces of this delicious, slightly sour-tasting
bread
and you use them to prop the food into
your mouth. If the service isn't always
adequate, the prices are very
reasonable and the portions are generous.
A great experience for the
adventurous, but it may prove a bit
challenging for a first date.

The food was good but the portion sizes were much smaller than I've had in Ethiopian restaurants in other cities such as Ottawa, Windsor, and Detroit. The staff are very courteous and the ambience is nice.

The vegetarian food was fabulous! We loved the ambiance and thought the coffee was delicious!
