Happy Buddha is a very nice vegetarian restaurant in midtown, focusing on Chinese style mock-meats (usually made from soy proteins). The variety of dishes is very wide, and includes soups, hot pots, noodles, fried rice, and many specialty dishes -- fried shrimps with vegetables and cashew nuts, deep fried fish, sweet & sour chicken balls... Altogether the food is very tasty, and the mock meats are always an interesting adventure. Very friendly service as well.
