500 g (18 oz) Raspberries
1 cup (200 g) sugar
1 cup (250 ml) whipping cream
4 table spoons rose water
Rose-Raspberry Ice Cream
Juice the lemon and put the juice in a blender. Add the cleaned raspberries, the sugar and
the rose water. Blend until smooth. Pour the cream in a bowl, and whip with a hand mixer until thick. Mix in the raspberry puree, then pour in the ice-cream maker, and voila!
This recipes works best with fresh and ripe raspberries; the rose water mostly re-inforces the fruit flavour, like vanilla does for chocolate.
