2 cups (1/2 l) water
2/3 cup (125 g) sugar
5 oz (150 g) dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
1 table spoon coffee grounds
In a pot, pour 40 cl (1.5 cup) of water, the sugar and the cocoa powder. Bring to a boil, and let simmer for 5 minutes. Add the chocolate (cut up in small chunks). Bring to a boil again, stirring constantly, then immediately remove the pot from the heat. Let the mixture cool down quickly (ideally, put the pot in cold water and stir until cool).
With the 10 cl (1/2 cup) remaining water and the coffee grounds, make some coffee. Let the coffee cool down and add it to the chocolate mixture.
When everything is completely cooled down, pour in
your favourite ice-cream maker, and voila, chocolate-coffee sorbet!
