Chocolate Arts' chocolates (truffles, molded
or hand-dipped) are both very good and
very beautiful, and they come in over 30
different kinds. The fillings are often
creative, many of them using alcohol or
fruit: for example, Amaretto, Cointreau,
Grand Marnier, as well as lemon, cherry or
pear are all on the menu. The rhubarb
is surprising but good, the tartness of the
rhubarb being balanced by the sweetness
of the milk chocolate. The deceptively
simple coconut crunch, made with fresh
toasted coconut and milk or dark
couverture, is particularly delicious.
Chocolate Arts uses couvertures from Barry
Callebaut and Valrhona.
