Fressen is probably the finest vegetarian restaurant in the city. The beautiful, nature-inspired decor doesn't match the usual blandness of veggie eateries.

The menu is just as attractive: the dishes are very tasty, and usually come in a large plate with a variety of delicious fixings. When available, the gluten roast (a kind of faux roast-beef) is one of our favourite. Several kinds of pasta are less original, but very good as well. Most dishes use organic ingredients; organic wine is also on the wine list. Unfortunately, the dessert selection is small and doesn't quite live up to the rest of the menu, so no need to save space for dessert.
