The Oriental Shop will satisfy all your needs for yummy foods: pastries, chocolates and ice cream. The Oriental Shop's pastries are particularly good. Many of them are rectangle-shaped layered slices, with many uncommon but delicious tastes: rhubarb mousse, raspberry-anise, apricot-chesnut, pandan leaves or pandan-banana are just a few examples. Lemon tart, fruit tart, chocolate mousse and creme caramel are also there. The ice cream is first rate as well, with an amazing lychee sorbet among a dozen other flavours, including sesame and fruit cake.
Finally, the famous Marriage Freres teas from Paris are available at some outlets, however at a very steep price.
The Oriental Shop has other branches in: Central Ploenchit, the Central World Plaza, Siam Pagaron, and the Emporium.
