Dave & Andy make some of the richest and creamiest ice
tasted, in about 70 rotating flavors -- on any given day,
able to choose between 16 flavors of ice cream, and 12 of
yogurt and sorbet. Examples of unusual flavors include
egg nog, pumpkin pie or black forest cheesecake! All the
there as well; the vanilla, caramel cashew or rum raisin are
particularly good. This quality comes at a very reasonable
"single" costs less then $2, and consists in fact two large
(our tip: ask for two flavors in a single!). The waffle cones
made on the premises, don't miss on them or you will

I would have to agree. I lived in Regent Square a mere 15 min from dave and andy's. This ice cream is the dankest ice cream in the world. You pay two dollars for a waffle cone with a m&m in the bottom.
We used to live an hour north of Pittsburgh, and frequently drove down to the Oakland area to eat at an Indian restaurant just down the road from Dave & Andy's. The first time we went we saw Dave & Andy's, and ice cream sounded really good, so we stopped in. It became a tradition practically. The ice cream was excellent, and the waffle cone was out of this world. You walk in, and you can smell the waffles being made on the waffle irons. The service was good and speedy, given the line out the door, I was very impressed.
We live near New York now, and I have yet found a place comparable to Dave & Andy's. Boy do we miss it.
